He rubbed the spot
With zeal and vigour
"I'll get it out..... You’ll see!"
She the bird
With speckled spot
Writhed in pain to be let be.
And the spots became
A rash, red raw
But the spot
Was all he saw.
Father God,
In Bird's creation
Gave his daughter, "Life", the brush.
A subtle blend
Free reign and guidance
A blemish from the youngsters brush.
And every bird was thus created
And loved with every flaw.
God, knowing how he'd use that blemish...
The long term plan he saw.
To create the beauty
That comes from ashes
Only He could do
But then the "he"
With zeal and vigour
Thought he could do it too.
She writhed, she flew!
He said she cheated
-Maybe this was true...
She needed freedom
She needed ointment
She only did what she could do.
He won't forgive.....
-She's speckled, flawed and blemished
It's all that he can see.

Her hair looked so magical for her grade 7 graduation.
Those are fresh and fragrant frangipanis in her hair
Talitha and Brittany join me & we entertain together

They are both so talented in their different ways.
